For Dragonflight, I had the pleasure of creating the rig for the Dracthyr Dragonform. The build spanned over several months of experimentation, successes, failures, restarts, and rebuilds. Some new methods were created just for this build: a single face rig that controls 3 different lengths of snouts at once, an auto-webbing system for the wings, the ability to customize the look of the character just like in the game. This is the most complex and time consuming build I have created, completely from scratch.
Rigging info: 243 skinned joints, 344 animation controllers, 18 unique snouts, 253 total pieces of geometry to smooth skin.
